Every application for membership shall be in the form, prescribed by the Executive Committee, accompanied with the admission fee and subscription for the first year and be forwarded to the Secretary General of the Chamber, who shall there upon consider such an application and accept or reject the same. Provided, that the applicants enrolled after 1st September shall pay half year’s subscription.
In case of acceptance, the date of submission of the application will be considered as the date of enrolment as member of the Chamber for all purposes, if the majority of the members of the Committee vote against the admission of such an application, the application shall be deemed to be rejected.
The Secretary General shall thereupon communicate the decision of the Committee to the applicant and in case the application is rejected, the Secretary General shall also refund the money paid with the application. Secretary General will also communicate to the applicant reasons for rejection of his application along with the decision.
