Trade delegations are an important promotional tool for the implementation of export strategy and the achievement of the objectives like maximization of exports and market shares, promotion of new & medium to small size exporters, increasing geographical spread in developed countries, etc. The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan tries to send its trade delegations to penetrate existing markets and explore new ones to enhance exports from Pakistan.

Keeping in view the potential markets in view, SCCI submitted its plan to TDAP for trade delegations to United Kingdom, South Korea & Japan, Australia, and Brazil, Argentina & Chile which were approved. The Sialkot Chamber invited applications from the members through its fortnightly bulletin. The Departmental Committee on Trade Delegations made selection of applicant delegates under set criteria and concerted deliberations. In 2009, three delegations to United Kingdom; South Korea & Japan and Australia have completed their visits very successfully.

The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry provides the facility of attestation of different commercial documents to its members. These documents include Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists , catalogues etc. The attestation fee is Rs. 100/- per document. Non members may also avail the facility of attestation by paying double fee i.e. Rs. 200/- per document. The Chamber does not charge any fee for the attestation of additional copies of documents. Certificate of Origin forms are available on Cash counter of Sialkot Chamber and Chamber charges Rs. 30 for each set of Certificate of Origin. One set of Certificate of Origin includes four copies.
